Northwoods - Bonners Ferry, Idaho

Our site is located at the end of Apple Alley. The two homes are nestled against the wooded slope, with raspberry bushes, flowers and a stunning view of the Kootenai River Valley and Purcell Mountains. The main house, built in 1908, is a 4 bedroom 2 bath home accommodating 7 boys.

Next door, our second home accommodates those who turn 18 prior to graduation. Both homes offer end of the road privacy and the convenience of an in town location. In addition to a full academic schedule, our students have the opportunity to participate in activities such as Community theater, High School sports, Tae Kwan Do, music, social events and much more. Recreational activities include weight training, ground school, sailing, mountain biking, fishing, skiing and snowboarding.

Rounding out the Northwoods lifestyle are work projects ranging from daily and weekly household chores, meal preparation, landscape maintenance and woodcutting. Some of our students have held part time jobs within the community.

Bonners Ferry has been home to Northwoods since 1993, and we continue to enjoy the acceptance and hospitality of this rural community.
