Northwoods - Sagle, Idaho

Located on ten peaceful acres in the mountains of North Idaho, the Sagle farm is a licensed home, for up to eight young men, ages 13-17. In addition to daily academics, students care for the numerous farm animals, grow a vegetable garden, perform basic farm chores and participate in other building projects such as our nine-hole Frisbee disc golf course. Everyone contributes by cooking, cleaning, doing laundry and other daily chores.

Northwoods' students enjoy a variety of local recreational activities including mountain biking, working out at the local health club, sailing, swimming, and fishing on Lake Pend Oreille. Winter activities include skiing and snowboarding at Schweitzer Mountain.

Students participate in the local community theater and volunteer their support for Idaho’s Winter Special Olympics.

Adjacent to the main house is a new four-bedroom, two bath home for our 18-year old students. This facility creates age appropriate opportunities such as part time work, college classes, and independent living skills.

The Sagle Farm offers a home environment for personal growth through support and guidance.
